Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Manager – Democratic Republic of the Congo
The State University of New York’s Center for International Development (SUNY/CID) is one of the preeminent leaders in the field of democracy and governance (D/G) with more than 25 years of experience managing more than $300 million dollars in donor-funded projects.
SUNY/CID is a seeking a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Manager for the anticipated, USAID-funded Integrated Governance Activity in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is anticipated that the project will focus on strengthening key governance institutions in order to improve the delivery of health, education, and economic growth services at the community level and to strengthen the social contract between citizens and government in the DRC. Successful candidates will have demonstrated expertise managing M&E for large, complex USAID-funded assistance projects in developing countries.
Qualifications:
· Fluency in French and English
· Ten years of experience in similar capacity, including experience putting in place performance monitoring system and mentoring project staff on its use to ensure good quality of performance data
· Experience with USAID or comparable donor reporting systems
· Experience with impact evaluations
· Strong written communication skills
