PROGRAM BACKGROUND PLEASE ENTER GENERAL INTRODUCTION OVERVIEW
This is a Public Health emergency caused by Ebola outbreak in North Western DRC in Equateur Province and IMC is responding to this outbreak.
International Medical Corps primary response will support DRC ministry of health through existing Health facilities with the following:
- Triage
- Isolation and Treatment (if required)
- Training
- Referrals (if required)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ensure high-quality clinical services in health facilities
- Monitor service quality, ensure that all staff are trained and well-supported,
- Ensure adherence to agreed SOPs, protocols, guidelines and standards
- Represent IMC in the Ebola response coordination and technical working groups (E.g. Case management and IPC).
- Training Clinical Staff on the relevant protocols (E.g. Case definition, Isolation, and referral) and guidelines such as IPC, including correct use of PPE.
- Other duties as assigned. The duties and responsibilities listed are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.

Qualifications:
- Fluency in French and English
- Nursing Degree (for Nursing Role)
- Post Graduate Public Health qualification will be a plus (e.g. MPH) for both categories
- Valid licences to practice in country of residency/origin is desirable
- Ebola experience is preferred
- Primary health careandcommunicable/tropical disease experience is preferable
- Experience in emergencies, conflict settings and Resource limited setting is desirable
- Available to be deployed immediately or within the next 72 hours
