An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Coordinator to manage the implementation of Tearfund’s contractual obligations of the SWIFT Consortium in DRC. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership, support and monitoring, and will coordinate the implementation and reporting from Tearfund’s operational team in the DRC, with overall oversight of budget of up to £10 million.
You will need proven significant experience of project management including design and implementation of MEAL tools and budget and financial management, as well as implementation of WASH projects within the relief and development context, and ideally experience of working with a Payment by Results Contract. In addition, experience of working with a variety of groups, including local and international NGOs and government authorities is required. Experience of working in a Consortium and with institutional donors (especially DFID) is also required.
The candidate must also be able to work in potentially insecure environments, with remote supervision, to tight timeframes. Applicants must be committed to Tearfund’s Christian beliefs.
